The laboratory is used to carry out ecotests on various materials (semichronic test on mustard Sinapis alba L., acute test on daphnia Daphnia magna S., contact test on lettuce Lactuca sativa L. with soil, bioluminescence quenching test on Vibrio fischeri, semichronic test on lesser duckweed Lemna minor L.). It is also used to prepare aqueous leachates for individual ecotests and to determine some of their chemical or physical parameters. The maximum sample weight for preparing aqueous leachate is approximately 1000 g, and the minimum is 200 g. Powdered samples, bulk samples, or directly prepared aqueous leachates can be measured.
