RWP1 Hybrid silicate materials and their technological applications reflects the current needs of industry and society and is based on the development and implementation of the excellent basic research potential. The main research directions of the involved faculties of VŠB-TUO and partners are focused on areas related to the presented research subject: the study of properties of progressive materials and sustainable materials with respect to circular economy, study of degradation processes in materials, research of ceramic and concrete materials for special applications, additive production of silicate materials and structural and technological optimization in the concept of Industry 4.0.
RWP1 is divided into two parts:
- WP1/1 Silicates for 3D printing technology (doc. Ing. Ondřej Jankovský, Ph.D., UCT)
- WP1/2 Hybrid concrete mixes using recyclates and concrete surfaces with self-cleaning properties (doc. Ing. Bc. Oldřich Sucharda, Ph.D., FCE VSB - Technical University of Ostrava)
