Project description
The project focuses on the Quality 4.0 Maturity Model development and its practical deployment through a Quality 4.0 Benchmarking Platform in SME in the V4 region. The project promotes cross-border collaboration and networking among quality and IT experts from academia, SMEs, and technological start-ups across the V4 region and fosters knowledge sharing.
Specific results
1) Quality 4.0 Maturity Model and Assessment Tool developed through the cross-border collaboration of academics (quality and IT experts), SME (quality practitioners) and experts from innovative companies to provide a new structured framework that would guide organisations in managing changes and development activities towards Q4.0.
2) Q4.0 Benchmarking Platform that makes the maturity model widely accessible to a broad range of organisations, and enables its practical application in SME in V4 for their maturity assessment and benchmarking with peers. It supports peer-learning and guiding to Quality 4.0 excellence.
3) Cooperation, and knowledge sharing among academics and researchers from the field of Quality and IT, experts from SME and innovative companies (including technological start-ups) through thematic events such as company visits, meetings and onsite seminars.
4) Collection of best practices in the field of Quality 4.0 - from innovative SMEs accessible on the platform. By compiling examples across different industries and countries in the V4 region, the output fosters cross-sectoral learning and regional knowledge exchange.
5) Common gaps of SME in V4, barriers, and development needs identification based on the assessment provided by the “Q4.0 Benchmarking Platform”, enabling more targeted support.
