Partner for Industry, Science, and Education

Our department brings together experts, students, and partners from industry and research. We are engaged in education, applied research, and collaboration with companies. We are open to new challenges and ideas.

  • Materials that Shape the Future – We develop biocompatible alloys for medical applications as well as durable materials for modern energy systems, addressing challenges such as hydrogen embrittlement.
  • Advanced Analysis, Real Results – Structural and phase analysis (electron microscopy), corrosion testing, and mechanical testing allow us to explore materials in depth and advance them for practical applications.
  • Recycling with Added Value – We focus on modern approaches to material recycling and optimization of technological processes, with an emphasis on the circular economy.
  • Advanced Photonic and Holographic Technologies – We contribute to the development and testing of new banknotes and security features for identity documents. We specialize in integrated photonics, optics, ellipsometry, and spectroscopy.
  • Physics of Thin Films and Semiconductor Materials – We develop thin-film-based materials for the semiconductor industry and are experts in both contact and non-contact measurement of electrical properties of nanomaterials.
