Kateřina brings a strong business background to her current role. She studied psychology at Charles University, where she also earned her PhD. Although she worked for many years as an HR Manager/Director, she has always remained active in the field of psychology – often through volunteer work and nonprofit projects.

Her career includes positions at Plzeňský Prazdroj, where she managed HR and assessed key positions across the EU. Later she transitioned into the steel industry, working for EVRAZ Holding in Ostrava, where she helped lead corporate transformation and implemented lean processes to improve efficiency.

After maternity leave, she joined BANG & OLUFSEN, a Danish luxury audio/video manufacturer, where she served as HR Director while also overseeing finance and administration, including managing the sale of the company’s Czech branch.

She then moved to TATRA TRUCKS as HR Director and later held the same role at VÍTKOVICE STEEL, where she was also a board member and served on the board of the company’s charitable foundation. Her steel industry journey continued at Třinecké železárny, the largest steel producer in the Czech Republic, where she was a board member and served on supervisory and management boards of several organizations.

Throughout her corporate career, she continued to practice psychology – working with both children and adults. Her HR work has always drawn deeply on her psychological training.

At the center of her professional focus is always the individual – a person experiencing, creating, or facing something important. Whether in a crisis, challenging life phase, or personal growth period, she brings a blend of business and psychological expertise to each situation.
