Abstract:
Beyond Technology: How Human Connection Shapes Planetary Sustainability.
Efforts to address climate change often focus on technological innovation, efficiency, and net-zero targets. Yet sustainable futures depend not only on the systems we build, but also on the relationships that sustain them. This interactive workshop explores how empathy, sense of place, environmental identity and connection to nature influence the ways people engage with sustainability challenges. Through discussion and reflection, participants will examine how wellbeing, community and multispecies perspectives can help create cities and societies where both people and the living world can flourish.
