The opening will take place on 5 November at 5.30 pm in front of the Rector’s Office building at VSB – Technical University of Ostrava. Guests will include Mrs Marie Zoubková, his wife, and Olbram Zoubek’s daughters, Polanta Bregantová and Eva Zoubková. Following the opening of the exhibition, we invite you to a discussion with the guests in the foyer of the VSB-TUO Rector’s Office building.
The exhibition will be on display until 30 November in front of the VSB-TUO Rector’s Office building. This exhibition marks the anniversary of 17 November – the Day of the Struggle for Freedom and Democracy and International Students’ Day. This day commemorates the courage of several generations who endured brutal repression, oppression and the lack of freedom, whilst also highlighting the need to continually protect and nurture freedom and democracy.
Further information on the event ‘The Journey to the Light’ (17 November celebrations) can be found on the university website.
