Summary
The main objective of the research project is the long-term development of co-operation in the field of industrial waste removal from metallurgical production, including a co-product and non-primary materials which are not primary target of this manufacture. The project focuses on research into the material utilization of huge volume waste products such as slag, wet and dry outputs from cleaning of waste flue gas, from production of iron and steel, are not marginalized products from follow up technology, for example fly ash from energetic devices and solid waste from foundry industry.
The project monitors the acquisition of scientific knowledge that will lead to the elimination of undesirable environmental impacts of the mentioned products, will increase their material utilization or increase the value of the products obtained from the originally waste materials of the metallurgical and related plants. The members of the implementation team will ensure that the acquired scientific knowledge is quickly practically usable and economically efficient.
The members of the research team are research organizations and important industrial partners for which the results of research activities are key in terms of further development.
