Summary
The research focuses on the design, fabrication and evaluation of modular rehabilitation aids manufactured by 3D printing from composite and combined polymer materials. The project investigates the relationship between material and structural design, ergonomics, user comfort and the possibility of long-term repeated use in rehabilitation practice. It includes the systematic study of suitable material combinations for load-bearing and contact parts, the design of shapes and modular elements supporting visuomotor, fine and gross motor functions and basic cognitive tasks, as well as the development of a simple interactive application for structured exercise guidance and basic performance recording. Prototypes will be tested in laboratory conditions and in cooperation with a clinical psychology practice to assess their ergonomics, usability and contribution to the rehabilitation process.
